Here is round two of CD Review Tuesday. Today I will be reviewing two CD's that are current favorites of mine as well. The first review of the day is the new self titled Kari Jobe album. This CD is amazing. Every song on the album is truly great. My favorites are "I'm Singing", "Joyfully", "Beautiful", "No Sweeter Name", and "Revelation Song". This album was produced by the amazing Ed Cash and a lot of the songs were co-written with Chris Tomlin. This is Kari's second album although she has been on many albums with Klaus Kuehn, Rick Pino, Christ for the Nation's, and Gateway Church albums. Kari serves as a worship pastor at Gateway Church in Texas. You should definitely go buy this album by clicking here . This is Eoghan Heaslip's (pronounced Owen Heeslip) fourth album. All of Eoghan's stuff is so good! This new album kind of snuck up on me and it was an awesome surprise. I was looking at a website a...

Faithful (Kristian Stanfill version / Alex Nifong) O Praise Him (David Crowder* Band) To God Be The Glory (The Longing version / Fanny Crosby & Robert Lowry) Lead Me To The Cross (Hillsong United) Nothing But The Blood (Bethel version / Robert Lowry) Amazing Grace My Chains Are Gone (Chris Tomlin) Band: Drums: Mark Gormley Bass: Gerald Lay Keys: Dave Orth Electric & BGV's: Rob Sherrod BGV's: Sarah Hatfield Lead Vocals / Electric / Acoustic / Loops: Jason Eaton This series that we have been doing has been very heavy series. But that is the beauty of Easter. Remembering and thinking about what Jesus went through on our behalf because of His love for us is a tough thing to think about. And sadly enough most people want to block it out and become immune to the cross. Except there is huge danger in that! Everything about who we are in Christ is because of the cross. The cross is central to everything in our lives. So we must remember what Jesus brought us out of throu...

Today since it is the kick-off Tuesday I am going to review a three CD's. Two of my current favorites and one that was released today. So check it out below... I an McIntosh is apart of Bethel Church in Redding, California. He is one of he many super talented musicians they have their. Ian's first album awakened is an absolute A+ in my book. His sound is very unique in a very good way and the words are very penetrating. Awakening can be heard every weekend at Resonate because it is on the weekend experience walk in playlist because I put it there to stay. This is a must buy for anyone... My fav's are Such Beauty, Made to Love, Always Good, and just go ahead and add the rest of the album to my favorites. This entire album is good from beginning to end. Klaus Kuehn is a worship pastor out of Christ for The Nations in Texas. Christ for the ...

All Because of Jesus (Fee) Beautiful Jesus (Kristian Stanfill) Beautiful The Blood (Fee) This Is Our God (Chris Tomlin) Hosanna (Hillsong United) Band: Drums: Mark Gormley Bass: Gerald Lay Keys: Dave Orth Electric & BGV's: Rob Sherrod BGV's/Co-Lead: Sarah Hatfield Acoustic/Loops / Lead Vocals: Jason Eaton This weekend was powerful in the fact that God really gave us clear direction for this easter. Scott's message was on the Trial of Jesus. And the part to me that really spoke deeply was when Pilate released Barabbas. How many times to we have the chance to make a wise choice and we dont? How many times do we have the chance to choice Life but we choose death? How many times do we have the choice to choose Jesus but we choose Barabbas? What is your Barabbas that you choose over Jesus? Musically, we came out really high energy and celebrated where we had been and the beauty of the Cross. We ended with This Is Our God and Hosanna. It was a really good weekend...

It felt a little slow because we were pretty low on people. We had some snow and so about 25% of our congregation went to Bedside Baptist. But Scott's message was really, really good. So if you didnt get a chance to listen to it go to iTunes and get the podcast. He talked about Jesus' time in the Garden of Gethsemane. There was some good history to it. I think it was kind of a shocker to most what all Jesus went through that night before even being crucified. I know I couldn't even handle the stress of that night. But he went thro...

Hello Love Tour!

Image
Last Sunday night we took about 12 people from our church for free to the Hello Love tour! The Hello Love tour was amazing Chris Tomlin was great as was Israel Houghton. Thank you so much for the free tickets from Sixsteps Records! It was such a blessing to have all those free tickets from the fourth row! Wow, what a blessing! We were truly blessed by the night and we really encouraged by seeing what felt like every Christian in the state of Washington in one building worshipping our rising Savior together! As a worship leader we are always the ones leading other in worship and it was a nice breath of fresh air just to be lead by Tomlin & Israel. Great music, great God, great night. B elow are some pictures from the night!

This week we really focused on the Last Supper. Petie our Family Life Pastor spoke. He spoke about the Passover and explained in awesome detail about the history of the Passover meal and the time of Passover. He made the comparison to our forth of July festivities we have here in the United States every yea r to celebrate our freedom.
