My prayer for our worship time has been this: That God would do exceedingly great and new things. I think a lot of times we want to recreate great worship times where we experienced the Spirit so powerful that we could never forget it. And a lot of times as worship leaders and pastors we forget that God wants to do new things in our times of connecting with Him. I am thankful that God wants to continue to blow us away with new things that He has never revealed or given to us as believers in Christ!

This weekend we got to experience God new. It was a new Sunday that had never taken place before and it was a new opportunity to be with Him. It was special! We had a reminder of how much God loves us and we were able to respond to that by singing the Kevin Prosch song "Praise the Lord, O my soul. Praise the Lord" over and over.

Thank you God for doing new things in our lives!

So I got an inside look into the amazing stuff going on at Passion City Church in Buckhead (ATL), Georgia. I learned so many great things about how they communicate, lead, set vision, and much more that I wanted to share my thoughts from visiting.  Plus a bunch or pictures below. The lead story (the headline) at Passion City Church is always the same and that is that "Jesus Is Alive." Our VIP Weekend @ Elevation Church

So I got to attend a Sunday night service at Elevation Church in Charlotte, NC at the Blakeney Campus. The area of Charlotte probably has now officially become one of my favorite areas in the country.  I could easily live there. Once we pulled onto the street to get to the church they had signs asking if it was your first time to the church to turn on your car flashers.  Once the parking team noticed it they immediately sent you to prime front row parking.  At Elevation they call first time guests VIP's.  Also, a part of being a VIP is to immediately go to the black VIP tent right outside the front doors where they give your a bunch of free stuff!  We filled out the paper work needed to put our daughter into her Elevation Kids class then we were given a VIP packet with a free CD and message from Pastor Steven Furtick.   They walked us to the Kids check in and the kids volunteers had Greenlee (our daughter) jumping up and down with excitement...
