So this week we began a new series by Dave Ramsey that he did at Life Church called Life, Money and Hope. When we watched this series as a staff we new that this series was something that our people needed to see. Dave Ramsey does such an amazing job of helping us understand money better. A lot of us know what to do but we just need reminders a long the way top help us remember that money is not for our personal pleasure. It is to meant to expand the kingdom of God and in order for us to do that we have to be wise with it! So this first week was really good. I never knew Dave Ramsey was so funny but he is. So make sure if you were there sunday to go and take a listen to the podcast! It was also amazing to hear the testimony from Catie and Christ Adams about tithing and giving to the church. They did a wonderful job and I cant wait to hear from all the other families that God is going to use their stories to please us during this series. So I got an inside look into the amazing stuff going on at Passion City Church in Buckhead (ATL), Georgia. I learned so many great things about how they communicate, lead, set vision, and much more that I wanted to share my thoughts from visiting.  Plus a bunch or pictures below. The lead story (the headline) at Passion City Church is always the same and that is that "Jesus Is Alive." Our VIP Weekend @ Elevation Church

So I got to attend a Sunday night service at Elevation Church in Charlotte, NC at the Blakeney Campus. The area of Charlotte probably has now officially become one of my favorite areas in the country.  I could easily live there. Once we pulled onto the street to get to the church they had signs asking if it was your first time to the church to turn on your car flashers.  Once the parking team noticed it they immediately sent you to prime front row parking.  At Elevation they call first time guests VIP's.  Also, a part of being a VIP is to immediately go to the black VIP tent right outside the front doors where they give your a bunch of free stuff!  We filled out the paper work needed to put our daughter into her Elevation Kids class then we were given a VIP packet with a free CD and message from Pastor Steven Furtick.   They walked us to the Kids check in and the kids volunteers had Greenlee (our daughter) jumping up and down with excitement...
