Finality...

Well this past year I have dealt with a lot of finality in my life.  My dad passing away of cancer, my beautiful wife and I sleeping due to our beautiful daughter Greenlee and in just a few days I will be leaving a community that has meant the world to me in many ways over the past seven years.  And the worst part is I don't know what I am leaving to...  the only thing I know is God has a plan for me and I am excited to see what it is.  Although I haven't enjoy my job at Crossroads for the past few years I will truly miss so many people...  This past three months has been so hard for Kristy and I... we know what we want (Raleigh) but the problem is that we don't know if the timing from God is not lining up which could mean a few different things... 1.) That CNX is not the right place for us... which would be a horrible things at least we think.  We have grown to love the area and the people especially.  Of course I don't need to say anything about the Turner's, we have loved them from the first time we hung out with them.  But now we have some new friends in Raleigh (The Coopers).  Kristy and I fell in love with couple because we are so much a like and there heart is amazing.  The Coopers just like the Turners when you leave them you feel closer to the Lord which is a big deal to me...  so we would be terribly sad about not going to Raleigh.  2.)  God want to teach me some things before he gives us what he desires for us.  Which is exciting because we never know what that is going to look like we just know when He prunes it hurts and we are already feeling the affects of the hurt.  But any who... just continue to pray for God to show us His ways and that we would continue to delight Him as we try hard to follow Him.

Hope you know how much Jen and I love the three of you. We'd love for Raleigh to be your next stop if it is what God has in mind. If not, we'll just deal with it.
