Set List 08.10.08


Well I am going to try something new.  I am going to weekly post my set list of songs that I did the previous weekend and just put my thoughts down about the weekend journey as a whole.  

So right now I am still an Independent Contract Worship Leader for the VIneyard in Cincinnati, Ohio.  It is an amazing church with the most amount of talent that I have ever seen at a church It is truly remarkable.  There are numerous students who write there own material and have recorded multiple albums!  My experience so far there has been amazing and I am so thankful for the time that I have spent there.

The weekend Mat Milthaler spoke and he talked about "The Big Mo".  Which is forward momentum. He talked about how for us as christian to do the things that God has called us to do that we have to have forward momentum in our lives to complete those things.  He used and acronym to describe what he meant.  The acronym was D.R.I.V.E. (devotion, reading, investing, visioning, exercising).  It was truly an amazing weekend and God gave as well as hundreds or students a lot of revelation about things this weekend.

As far the the set list we had a fun weekend worshiping!

So I got an inside look into the amazing stuff going on at Passion City Church in Buckhead (ATL), Georgia. I learned so many great things about how they communicate, lead, set vision, and much more that I wanted to share my thoughts from visiting.  Plus a bunch or pictures below. Our VIP Weekend @ Elevation Church

So I got to attend a Sunday night service at Elevation Church in Charlotte, NC at the Blakeney Campus. The area of Charlotte probably has now officially become one of my favorite areas in the country.  I could easily live there. Once we pulled onto the street to get to the church they had signs asking if it was your first time to the church to turn on your car flashers.  Once the parking team noticed it they immediately sent you to prime front row parking.  At Elevation they call first time guests VIP's.  Also, a part of being a VIP is to immediately go to the black VIP tent right outside the front doors where they give your a bunch of free stuff!  We filled out the paper work needed to put our daughter into her Elevation Kids class then we were given a VIP packet with a free CD and message from Pastor Steven Furtick.   They walked us to the Kids check in and the kids volunteers had Greenlee (our daughter) jumping up and down with excitement...
