NFL Begins! Bengals vs. Ravens


So the NFL has begun!  I can't even describe how excited my wife and I are for this... I might be a little more excited but Kristy actually really likes football a lot and watches al the games with me!  I know I am very lucky!  We watched every game we could... especially the Bengals, Ravens game.  I have been a Bengals fan for as long as I can remember.  I used to always try to do the "Ickey Shuffle" and I always wore a Boomer Essiason jersey.

I was so disappointed to watch the game on Sunday.  It was painful.  I feel like the Bengals never have a good game plan and I feel they always try to stick to it even when it isn't working at all.  So Sunday they were committed to the run and it wasn't going anywhere.  Then when they had to pass the Ravens new they had to pass to catch up.  They have no balance in their attack.  I feel they should come out throwing and do a 70% pass / 30% run.  But who is asking me.

Another frustrating thing is that the NFL would not allow Chad Ocho Cinco formerly know as Chad Johnson to wear his new and improved last name  on the back of his jersey.  I think that Chad Johnson is exactly what the NFL needs more of... entertainment.  THey have taken away fun end zone dances and much more.  Now this does not mean that I don't absolutely love the NFL because I do.  But Chad Ocho Cinco loves entertaining and loves fans and this was just a fun thing he did which I love.  So come on NFL listen to me and let Chad Ocho Cinco wear Ocho Cinco on his jersey.  You will make a lot of money selling those jerseys.  I know I will buy one.

Thirdly, Fantasy Football is one of the most amazing things in the world.  It makes every game even more fun to watch.  So I thought I would list my team this year.  I actually had the 1st pick this year which in the past I have never had the 1st pick and I hated having it.  I am actually in three different leagues but I will mention my most competitive league which is the one with my Lexington Boys.  So here is my roster...

So I got an inside look into the amazing stuff going on at Passion City Church in Buckhead (ATL), Georgia. Our VIP Weekend @ Elevation Church

So I got to attend a Sunday night service at Elevation Church in Charlotte, NC at the Blakeney Campus. The area of Charlotte probably has now officially become one of my favorite areas in the country.  I could easily live there. Once we pulled onto the street to get to the church they had signs asking if it was your first time to the church to turn on your car flashers.  Once the parking team noticed it they immediately sent you to prime front row parking.  At Elevation they call first time guests VIP's.  Also, a part of being a VIP is to immediately go to the black VIP tent right outside the front doors where they give your a bunch of free stuff!  We filled out the paper work needed to put our daughter into her Elevation Kids class then we were given a VIP packet with a free CD and message from Pastor Steven Furtick.   They walked us to the Kids check in and the kids volunteers had Greenlee (our daughter) jumping up and down with excitement...
