This weekend was a very special weekend. Not just because it was Palm Sunday but because our Resonate Kids sang a few songs with us this weekend! They sang Sing, Sing, Sing and Tell The World With Us. They had hands motions and everything! Like MC Hammer's "Pray" only better! All I could think about was how happy and proud God was! I know as a parent I will be in tears proud when Greenlee is up their singing when she gets older! I know God was so pleased with those little bodies jumping and spinning and much more! I wish we could all have a lot more of that in us as we get older! It was a great weekend! Scott spoke about the spiritual aspects of the cross this weekend. Last week was the historical accounts of the cross and this week was about what that means for us. Not only as believers but for non-believers. Our desire is to tell all of Washington and the World about the Cross. "Tell the world that Jesus lives. Tell the world that He died for them! Tell them that He lives again!"

So I got an inside look into the amazing stuff going on at Passion City Church in Buckhead (ATL), Georgia. I learned so many great things about how they communicate, lead, set vision, and much more that I wanted to share my thoughts from visiting.  Plus a bunch or pictures below. The lead story (the headline) at Passion City Church is always the same and that is that "Jesus Is Alive." Our VIP Weekend @ Elevation Church

So I got to attend a Sunday night service at Elevation Church in Charlotte, NC at the Blakeney Campus. The area of Charlotte probably has now officially become one of my favorite areas in the country.  I could easily live there. Once we pulled onto the street to get to the church they had signs asking if it was your first time to the church to turn on your car flashers.  Once the parking team noticed it they immediately sent you to prime front row parking.  At Elevation they call first time guests VIP's.  Also, a part of being a VIP is to immediately go to the black VIP tent right outside the front doors where they give your a bunch of free stuff!  We filled out the paper work needed to put our daughter into her Elevation Kids class then we were given a VIP packet with a free CD and message from Pastor Steven Furtick.   They walked us to the Kids check in and the kids volunteers had Greenlee (our daughter) jumping up and down with excitement...
