Sunday we were in our third week of Coming Up To Breathe. This Sunday was what I believe to be the key week and the key factor in learning to breathe in life. To live a life of freedom and to throw off the bondage that binds us down and to begin to walk through life the way that Christ intended us to live. The message was "Examine Myself With Fearless Honesty". Scott asked us a lot of questions and we really left a lot of room for God to stir and work on people's hearts. It is always a good feeling when you know you laid out good, solid Biblical truth and then sit back and watch God do all the work.

If you haven't heard of or haven't listen to Kristian Stanfill's song I Need You... you need to. This song basically takes this whole series and puts it to words. Kristian just signed with Louie @ sixsteps records and just released his debut album a couple Tuesday's ago. Its called Attention so make sure you go to Amazon or iTunes and pick this one up. I will be doing a CD review for it on her hopefully tomorrow.

Any way it was a great weekend and I pray that God just continues to pull the things in us that we try to bury down inside of us out so that we can live all the more for him.

So I got an inside look into the amazing stuff going on at Passion City Church in Buckhead (ATL), Georgia. I learned so many great things about how they communicate, lead, set vision, and much more that I wanted to share my thoughts from visiting.  Plus a bunch or pictures below. The lead story (the headline) at Passion City Church is always the same and that is that "Jesus Is Alive." Our VIP Weekend @ Elevation Church

So I got to attend a Sunday night service at Elevation Church in Charlotte, NC at the Blakeney Campus. The area of Charlotte probably has now officially become one of my favorite areas in the country.  I could easily live there. Once we pulled onto the street to get to the church they had signs asking if it was your first time to the church to turn on your car flashers.  Once the parking team noticed it they immediately sent you to prime front row parking.  At Elevation they call first time guests VIP's.  Also, a part of being a VIP is to immediately go to the black VIP tent right outside the front doors where they give your a bunch of free stuff!  We filled out the paper work needed to put our daughter into her Elevation Kids class then we were given a VIP packet with a free CD and message from Pastor Steven Furtick.   They walked us to the Kids check in and the kids volunteers had Greenlee (our daughter) jumping up and down with excitement...

We will be discovering and looking deeper into this statement "God Is..." We are going to dig deep for four weeks looking at some characteristics of who God is.
