This week was an interesting week for me. I was able to change roles from Leading Worship to teaching for the first time at Resonate. If you didnt get a chance to hear it please feel free to go to iTunes and download the podcast. I taught about Loving Completely! We just started a series called "One Month To Live" based of the book by Chris and Kerry Shook. It has been a powerful series for me personally as well as the rest of our church. I am excited to see where God leads and grows our people through the idea that life is short and we need to be living each day as if it were our last. To Live Passionately, Love Completely, Laugh Regularly, Lead Intentionally, and Leave Boldly. It was a great weekend and a little nerve racking for me... but in the end God really challenged us all to love more completely!

So I got an inside look into the amazing stuff going on at Passion City Church in Buckhead (ATL), Georgia. I learned so many great things about how they communicate, lead, set vision, and much more that I wanted to share my thoughts from visiting.  Plus a bunch or pictures below. Our VIP Weekend @ Elevation Church

So I got to attend a Sunday night service at Elevation Church in Charlotte, NC at the Blakeney Campus. The area of Charlotte probably has now officially become one of my favorite areas in the country.  I could easily live there. Once we pulled onto the street to get to the church they had signs asking if it was your first time to the church to turn on your car flashers.  Once the parking team noticed it they immediately sent you to prime front row parking.  At Elevation they call first time guests VIP's.  Also, a part of being a VIP is to immediately go to the black VIP tent right outside the front doors where they give your a bunch of free stuff!  We filled out the paper work needed to put our daughter into her Elevation Kids class then we were given a VIP packet with a free CD and message from Pastor Steven Furtick.   They walked us to the Kids check in and the kids volunteers had Greenlee (our daughter) jumping up and down with excitement...

So we began anew series this week joining with well over 700,000 other churches across the world to discover more of God together.
