This weekend we wrapped up our series based off of a book by Chris and Kerry Shook called "One Month To Live". The premise of the series and the book is for us to begin living our lives as if we only had one month to live. We believe that if we were to think this way then it would change our lives and many more peoples lives. Today Scott talked about Leaving Boldly. This is something that we don't often think about but we should. Leaving this earth with a mission and purpose behind what we do is huge. All of us for the most part want to leave a lasting impression on the people we care about. We hope that when the days comes our family and friends will say more about us than "he loved his job".

Our time of worship was very powerful together! God really began stirring our hearts towards Him in a new way this weekend. It was a blessing to have a couple people become partners of Resonate and had another gentleman come forward to give his life to Christ. I pray that this series will be life changing for the people of Resonate Church for a long time!

So I got an inside look into the amazing stuff going on at Passion City Church in Buckhead (ATL), Georgia. I learned so many great things about how they communicate, lead, set vision, and much more that I wanted to share my thoughts from visiting.  Plus a bunch or pictures below. The lead story (the headline) at Passion City Church is always the same and that is that "Jesus Is Alive." Our VIP Weekend @ Elevation Church

So I got to attend a Sunday night service at Elevation Church in Charlotte, NC at the Blakeney Campus. The area of Charlotte probably has now officially become one of my favorite areas in the country.  I could easily live there. Once we pulled onto the street to get to the church they had signs asking if it was your first time to the church to turn on your car flashers.  Once the parking team noticed it they immediately sent you to prime front row parking.  At Elevation they call first time guests VIP's.  Also, a part of being a VIP is to immediately go to the black VIP tent right outside the front doors where they give your a bunch of free stuff!  We filled out the paper work needed to put our daughter into her Elevation Kids class then we were given a VIP packet with a free CD and message from Pastor Steven Furtick.   They walked us to the Kids check in and the kids volunteers had Greenlee (our daughter) jumping up and down with excitement...

So we began anew series this week joining with well over 700,000 other churches across the world to discover more of God together. We will be discovering and looking deeper into this statement "God Is..." We are going to dig deep for four weeks looking at some characteristics of who God is.
