Week 2 of Dave Ramsey's series that he did at LifeChurch.tv Life Money Hope was amazing this weekend! Dave does such an amazing job of stabbing your flesh and carnality and make you laugh about it while your dying. I never new he was so funny and exciting to listen to! This week he talked about "Breaking The Bondage of Debt"! It was very powerful and God is using it to really bring health to our church and to our families here at Resonate! It has been amazing to watch people begin to allow God to oversee every area of their life! Also we have seen the most stability in giving that our church has ever had!!! So praise God for that during these difficult times! It has been a blast to see our church grow not only numerically but also financially and biblically! This is an awesome journey and I am already excited for next week's message by Dave!

So I got an inside look into the amazing stuff going on at Passion City Church in Buckhead (ATL), Georgia. I learned so many great things about how they communicate, lead, set vision, and much more that I wanted to share my thoughts from visiting.  Plus a bunch or pictures below. The lead story (the headline) at Passion City Church is always the same and that is that "Jesus Is Alive." Our VIP Weekend @ Elevation Church

So I got to attend a Sunday night service at Elevation Church in Charlotte, NC at the Blakeney Campus. The area of Charlotte probably has now officially become one of my favorite areas in the country.  I could easily live there. Once we pulled onto the street to get to the church they had signs asking if it was your first time to the church to turn on your car flashers.  Once the parking team noticed it they immediately sent you to prime front row parking.  At Elevation they call first time guests VIP's.  Also, a part of being a VIP is to immediately go to the black VIP tent right outside the front doors where they give your a bunch of free stuff!  We filled out the paper work needed to put our daughter into her Elevation Kids class then we were given a VIP packet with a free CD and message from Pastor Steven Furtick.   They walked us to the Kids check in and the kids volunteers had Greenlee (our daughter) jumping up and down with excitement...
