Help Us Help Haiti!
















Resonate Church wants to do our part in being the church for the people of Haiti. As many of you know for both years of our existence as a church we have supported two missionaries who live and help out with an orphanage in Haiti. Our hearts break for the tragedy that has happened this past week and God is calling us to raise as much money as possible for the people of Haiti. We are partnering with Compassion International to donate and raise money. With just $35 you can give shelter, food, and medicine for a whole family for a month. We want to help as many families for as long as we can! So come prepared Sunday to give! We will have jars for you to take home so that you can be creative in raising money. We will also be putting containers in different businesses and restaurants in Bonney Lake. You can also click this link to give money online to help the people of Haiti.

But more than giving, also be praying for the Church in Haiti to be filled with faith and encouragement, for the missionaries there to be filled with joy, for the message of Jesus to run rampant throughout all of Haiti and for that country to be raised up even better than it was before.

So I got an inside look into the amazing stuff going on at Passion City Church in Buckhead (ATL), Georgia. I learned so many great things about how they communicate, lead, set vision, and much more that I wanted to share my thoughts from visiting.  Plus a bunch or pictures below. Our VIP Weekend @ Elevation Church

So I got to attend a Sunday night service at Elevation Church in Charlotte, NC at the Blakeney Campus. The area of Charlotte probably has now officially become one of my favorite areas in the country.  I could easily live there. Once we pulled onto the street to get to the church they had signs asking if it was your first time to the church to turn on your car flashers.  Once the parking team noticed it they immediately sent you to prime front row parking.  At Elevation they call first time guests VIP's.  Also, a part of being a VIP is to immediately go to the black VIP tent right outside the front doors where they give your a bunch of free stuff!  We filled out the paper work needed to put our daughter into her Elevation Kids class then we were given a VIP packet with a free CD and message from Pastor Steven Furtick.   They walked us to the Kids check in and the kids volunteers had Greenlee (our daughter) jumping up and down with excitement...
