Vision 2010 Day 3 (Sessions #5,and #6)
















Casey continued on his talk about the 5 Core Strengths That Grow Our Life. We have to remember that core strengths take time to develop. We have to understand that to grow our life to become more like Christ is vastly important. Survival if not the goal. We don't want to be the type of Christian that says things like... "well praise God I'm just tryin to make it til He returns" or "well I'm not really growin'". STAGNATION IS NOT AN OPTION IN THE BIBLE! So we have to come up with ways to grow in our walk with Jesus. James tells us to 'stir ourselves up'. It is our responsibility to stir up our growth. So it is a good thing for us personally to come up with to push us to grow.

Core Strength's:

3.) Relationships.
We have to be in relationships that make us become more like Jesus. We have to!

4.) Our Lives Should Connect With Every Kind Of People Group.
If in our life we are only around people who are just like us then our world is to small. Think about Heaven... There isn't going to be a white person section or a African American section or an Asian section... We have to open ourselves up to all of God's equal creation. We are all created in His image. We need to look at it like this... Jesus has two kinds of races. 1.) Those who are in the family and 2.) those who need to be in the family. You have to learn to embrace every kind of person. If you get nervous around people who aren't like you, you need to work on that.

5.) The Spirit Of Our Life Must Be In Agreement With God.
Does your life resemble the Word of God? Do you exude Jesus in your life? Or are you just like everyone else except you put a Christian stamp on it?











Creflo talked about "Renewing the mind". Which has been a huge focus in my personal life in the past month or so. This is something that we don't do once or that happens once we've been Baptized. Renewing the mind is a life long process. Walking in the Spirit is a mindset that lines up with God's Word. We have to learn to renew our mind set so that we won't be emotionally lead in our life. Because the flesh in not necessarily a bad behavior but bad thinking. We have to have the desire to become Spiritual intellectuals... We have to put in the work to renew our minds. We don't have someone pray over us and then poof our minds are renewed. But thank you Jesus that you give us the grace and strength to do this through you. The truth of the matter is that if we don't change the way we think then we will NEVER change! The price was paid for us on the cross to be able to renew our minds! God gives us His "super" on our "natural". If we want to have a better life and to change we have to do it God's way! If I have a million dollars in Kentucky... Then guess what? There is no way around it... I have to go to Kentucky to get it. If we want to have a changed blessed life we have to do it God's way. There is no way around it.

So I got an inside look into the amazing stuff going on at Passion City Church in Buckhead (ATL), Georgia. Our VIP Weekend @ Elevation Church

So I got to attend a Sunday night service at Elevation Church in Charlotte, NC at the Blakeney Campus. The area of Charlotte probably has now officially become one of my favorite areas in the country.  I could easily live there. Once we pulled onto the street to get to the church they had signs asking if it was your first time to the church to turn on your car flashers.  Once the parking team noticed it they immediately sent you to prime front row parking.  At Elevation they call first time guests VIP's.  Also, a part of being a VIP is to immediately go to the black VIP tent right outside the front doors where they give your a bunch of free stuff!  We filled out the paper work needed to put our daughter into her Elevation Kids class then we were given a VIP packet with a free CD and message from Pastor Steven Furtick.   They walked us to the Kids check in and the kids volunteers had Greenlee (our daughter) jumping up and down with excitement...
