It was great to hear from Pastor Craig Groeschel from Life Church this weekend as he talked about God Is... FATHER. We all have heard the prodigal story probably a bazillion times but for me it was so awesome to hear and see the story from the Father's perspective. I have often thought of the son or even the older son who stuck it out with his father. But it was amazing to see the love of this father for his son who has returned home and to see this how God intended us to see it. Holy simply means: exalted, something completely set a part, other than, something on a higher plane, something bigger than us that can't be measured by the standards that we measure ourselves, worthy of honor & respect, above us, all together different.
