We finished up our Tattoo series this past weekend and I really feel God did some amazing things and gave tremendous breakthrough in people lives through His Word in this series. We've all been searching for something or someone who can tell us who we are, why we are here, ands how much we are worth. And we has discovered that only God and a relationship with Him can we truly find that answer. Scott gave us these points to think through and allow the Holy Spirit to convict and speak to us.
#1 We leave our mark on the world when we're focused on the MAIN thing!
What is the main thing in your life? You can find that out by looking at your bank statements and your calendar.

#2 We leave an eternal mark on the world when we live DISTINCT lives!
Do you look, act, think, and live just like everyone else? Do you blend in? Or are you noticeably different?

Joyce Meyer says, "If you are the only one who is doing what's right... then you are the only one who is doing what is right!"

#3 We leave an eternal mark on the world when we move past the person in the mirror and we care enough to get MESSY!

We cannot lives lives of bystandard apathy. That is when we see an injustice going on and we say things like, "Oh, that is so sad." We have to get involved and help solve the problem and get messy doing it!

Are you in the game? There is no bench in Christianity!

#4 We leave an eternal mark on the world when we invest in God's REDEMPTIVE mission!

We give (time and money) to the things that we care most about. If we care about people spending an eternity in heaven then we will join in the mission of Resonate! Now is the time for us... Resonate Church... to begin to give sacrificially to OUR CHURCH. We can no longer rely on the men and women of God from KY and other states across the nation. This is the last year of funding from external supporters.

#5 We leave our mark when we SHARE God's story with people in our lives!

Do we care enough about people to tell them about what God is done in our lives? Or are we going to sit back and watch people live there lives and go to hell? We have to be proactive in telling people about Jesus!

So I got an inside look into the amazing stuff going on at Passion City Church in Buckhead (ATL), Georgia. Our VIP Weekend @ Elevation Church

So I got to attend a Sunday night service at Elevation Church in Charlotte, NC at the Blakeney Campus. The area of Charlotte probably has now officially become one of my favorite areas in the country.  I could easily live there. Once we pulled onto the street to get to the church they had signs asking if it was your first time to the church to turn on your car flashers.  Once the parking team noticed it they immediately sent you to prime front row parking.  At Elevation they call first time guests VIP's.  Also, a part of being a VIP is to immediately go to the black VIP tent right outside the front doors where they give your a bunch of free stuff!  We filled out the paper work needed to put our daughter into her Elevation Kids class then we were given a VIP packet with a free CD and message from Pastor Steven Furtick.   They walked us to the Kids check in and the kids volunteers had Greenlee (our daughter) jumping up and down with excitement...

So we began anew series this week joining with well over 700,000 other churches across the world to discover more of God together. We will be discovering and looking deeper into this statement "God Is..." We are going to dig deep for four weeks looking at some characteristics of who God is. This week Scott talked about "God is... HOLY". Holy simply means: exalted, something completely set a part, other than, something on a higher plane, something bigger than us that can't be measured by the standards that we measure ourselves, worthy of honor & respect, above us, all together different.
