This weekend was the last weekend for our series How To Eat An Elephant. We have heard from many of you about the long lasting impact that this series will have on you for a long time. Personally I believe this is the most important series we will or could ever do. When it comes down to Christianity it is about Transformation and allowing God's Word to renew our minds daily. God has daily words for you and I. He wants to connect with us every day! He wants to spend time with us each and every day and in this series we gave you very practical tools and resources on how to do that.

Scott wrapped up the series by asking us this question. What is the point of Christianity? Is the goal behavior modification? Is the goal religion? Is the goal to become a better person? Is the goal to pray a prayer and get to heaven? The answer to all of these questions is absolutely not! The goal of Christianity is relational intimacy and transformation. Dallas Willard says this... "The real question is not, "Will I get to heaven?" The real question is will I like it when I get there?"". I have also heard John Piper asked the question, "Would you still want to go to heaven if Jesus wasn't there?" Those are some good things for us to think about during this week...

The byproduct of relational intimacy is transformation. Max Lucado has said that, "God loves us just the way we are... but he doesn't want us to stay that way." James 1:22 says, "Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. "Unapplied truth is like unapplied paint... it doesn't do anybody any good. THe value is in the application." - Lane Jones.

Are you growing? Are you more like Jesus today than yesterday?

Resonate let's live transformed lives!
