What a great weekend! This series has been a great series and I know that we have all taken away so many things that we can add to our life in this area. This weekend was very specific to guardrails for our finances. If we think about our greatest regrets in our life most often they will be about either money or sex. So last week we talked about Guardrails for sex and this week we talked about money. There are basically 2 different types of people in this world. There are consumers and hoarders. Or we could say it this way... spenders or savers. Andy Stanley challenged us to make this a normal part of our lifestyle to Give 10%, Save 10% and Spend 80%. A good way to tell if money or God is our master is to notice is we only have two and not three of these in our life then money is our master. We have to GIVE, SAVE, LIVE.

Just a reminder form this weekends message. "Don't allow money to steal your peace, to steal your joy, or steal your thinking. Do not allow paper with peoples pictures on it that you will never meet in your life cause you to loose these things."

So I got an inside look into the amazing stuff going on at Passion City Church in Buckhead (ATL), Georgia. Our VIP Weekend @ Elevation Church

So I got to attend a Sunday night service at Elevation Church in Charlotte, NC at the Blakeney Campus. The area of Charlotte probably has now officially become one of my favorite areas in the country.  I could easily live there. Once we pulled onto the street to get to the church they had signs asking if it was your first time to the church to turn on your car flashers.  Once the parking team noticed it they immediately sent you to prime front row parking.  At Elevation they call first time guests VIP's.  Also, a part of being a VIP is to immediately go to the black VIP tent right outside the front doors where they give your a bunch of free stuff!  We filled out the paper work needed to put our daughter into her Elevation Kids class then we were given a VIP packet with a free CD and message from Pastor Steven Furtick.   They walked us to the Kids check in and the kids volunteers had Greenlee (our daughter) jumping up and down with excitement...

So we began anew series this week joining with well over 700,000 other churches across the world to discover more of God together. We will be discovering and looking deeper into this statement "God Is..." We are going to dig deep for four weeks looking at some characteristics of who God is.
