So I got an inside look into the amazing stuff going on at Passion City Church in Buckhead (ATL), Georgia. I learned so many great things about how they communicate, lead, set vision, and much more that I wanted to share my thoughts from visiting. Plus a bunch or pictures below. HERE ARE THE MAIN THINGS I LEARNED FROM THEIR LEADERSHIP TEAM ABOUT HOW THEY LEAD, GUIDE AND DIRECT THE PEOPLE OF PASSION CITY CHURCH! The lead story (the headline) at Passion City Church is always the same and that is that "Jesus Is Alive." No matter what happens on a Sunday nothing trumps this! At most of our churches the focus can be on that the chairs weren't set up correctly or that something didn't get put back the way it should have. Those things can and should be addressed, but they are so far down the line in importance. The fact that Jesus Is Alive is the main thing! So I got to attend a Sunday night service at Elevation Church in Charlotte, NC at the Blakeney Campus. The area of Charlotte probably has now officially become one of my favorite areas in the country. I could easily live there. Once we pulled onto the street to get to the church they had signs asking if it was your first time to the church to turn on your car flashers. Once the parking team noticed it they immediately sent you to prime front row parking. At Elevation they call first time guests VIP's. Also, a part of being a VIP is to immediately go to the black VIP tent right outside the front doors where they give your a bunch of free stuff! We filled out the paper work needed to put our daughter into her Elevation Kids class then we were given a VIP packet with a free CD and message from Pastor Steven Furtick. They walked us to the Kids check in and the kids volunteers had Greenlee (our daughter) jumping up and down with excitement...

So here we go I hope this is helpful and you are introduced to some new music that will bless you the way it has blessed me! Oh man! I always love it when IHOP finished their Onething Conference in January because you can always count on the beginning of summer for another amazing album. This album is by far my favorite of all the Onething Live albums! Why you ask? Because it has a lot of my boy Cory Asbury and Jaye Thomas thats why! Plus Laura Hackett who is beginning to be a favorite of mine as well. My top songs that are a must have are... Lowest Place (Laura Hackett), Reason To Dance (Cory Asbury & Jaye Thomas), Where I Belong (Cory Asbury), and Whom The Son Sets Free (Cory Asbury & Laura Hackett). Definitely go buy this album on iTunes or if you can stand the wait order the CD/DVD from IHOP. Even though it is just ...
