I LOVE IT!!!


So over the past three years I have been watching a worship service online.  My wife and I have even made the crazy trip down to Atlanta and back all in one day because God speaks to us so much through this ministry plus they have amazing worship.  Their worship leaders over the past three years are some of my favorites (Steve Fee my mane crush, Kristian Stanfill, Todd Fields, and  Eddie Kirkland)  You can watch their entire service from beginning to the end online by going to www.722.org.  The reason I am posting is because and amazing thing happened at last weeks service.  Go with me back one year.......

So one year ago a beautiful man by the name of Steve Fee quite leading worship every week at 7|22.  HE had been leading worship there for years and I had been watching every one.  And then about a year ago he quite.  He quite to pursue touring with his band Fee which are amazing by the way.  They have been very successful although I did miss him leading every week.  I shed a tear, went to counseling and after a few months I was better.  And then a blessing from God happened.  At last weeks 7|22 guess who was the guest worship leader... none other than Steve Fee himself.  It was a glorious night!  

SO all of this to say... go online and watch 7|22 it is an amazing service and some amazing worship!  And buy all of Steve Fee's material.

I've grown to love Steve Fee. After you introduced me to some of his material, I went out and purchased his CD, and even purchased a second copy for my dad. He too is become a fan!

So I got an inside look into the amazing stuff going on at Passion City Church in Buckhead (ATL), Georgia. Our VIP Weekend @ Elevation Church

So I got to attend a Sunday night service at Elevation Church in Charlotte, NC at the Blakeney Campus. The area of Charlotte probably has now officially become one of my favorite areas in the country.  I could easily live there. Once we pulled onto the street to get to the church they had signs asking if it was your first time to the church to turn on your car flashers.  Once the parking team noticed it they immediately sent you to prime front row parking.  At Elevation they call first time guests VIP's.  Also, a part of being a VIP is to immediately go to the black VIP tent right outside the front doors where they give your a bunch of free stuff!  We filled out the paper work needed to put our daughter into her Elevation Kids class then we were given a VIP packet with a free CD and message from Pastor Steven Furtick.   They walked us to the Kids check in and the kids volunteers had Greenlee (our daughter) jumping up and down with excitement...

Here On Earth (Bryan and Katie Torwalt / Jesus Culture Music) CD Review

So I'm excited that Jesus Culture is branching out and getting new artists to be apart of their label. This is a great step. I really love this album by Bryan and Katie Torwalt. Bryan and Katie are worship pastors at The River in Fresno . I first heard about them because they lead worship at Jesus Culture's Awakening Conference inChicago this past week. I really love the album a lot. To see a live interview / get to know the artists video click here to see them interviewed by Kim Walker-Smith ( @KimWalkerSmith ). As well as listen to bits of every song on the album. My favorite song hands down and will be a song that we do at Resonate is "Holy Spirit" I love songs that start off slowly and become huge as the song continues. I love the theme of this song. The theme is all about encountering the presence of the Holy Spirit during our times of worship. This theme is an area that God is calling Resonate to grow in and I really think this song could help...
