This weekend I had a different seat in the house. I took this weekend off so I could run sound and view the service from a different place. It is always awesome when you can step back and view the whole picture and see people respond to God throughout the room. Up on stage there are so many lights in our eyes its hard to see a lot, but from the back you can clearly see God stirring peoples hearts.

We continued in our series called According To Jim. Scott or Lead Pastor was back this week and he picked up where Petie our Family Life Pastor left off. Scott finished the rest of chapter one. If you didnt get to be there this weekend make sure you listen to the podcast. James is so applicable to our everyday lives. This book is really challenging us right now to push through difficult times and realize that in the valley that is where we grow! I am excited to grow from the valleys! THe hilltops are great but the valleys are better when we rely on Christ to get us through.

Rob did an amazing job leading the band and leading our congregation. We taught a new song this weekend from the CompassionArt album. King of Wonders is such an amazing song and this will be a Resonate song for a long time. If you havent heard this song make sure you go to iTunes and buy it!

NEXT WEEK THIS WILL LOOK A LITTLE DIFFERENT. I AM GOING BACK HOME TO KENTUCKY AND LEADING WORSHIP AT SOME DIFFERENT THINGS SO MAKE SURE TO CHECK BACK AND SEE ALL MY FUN ADVENTURES!
