We began a new series this weekend called "Reveal". Over the next three weeks we are going to be looking at three parables Jesus taught and see how God reveals himself through parables. This week we looked a the parable of the Pharisee and the tax collector. Unfortunately , I think most of the world believes the Pharisees way is the right way and is how God wants us to be. But thankfully its not. Petie did a wonderful job of revealing this truth about God to us. our worship time was powerful this week God is really stirring our people and we are making huge strides in our response to God! God is feeling more and more at home in our worship times and is doing more and more throughout our time.

So I got an inside look into the amazing stuff going on at Passion City Church in Buckhead (ATL), Georgia. I learned so many great things about how they communicate, lead, set vision, and much more that I wanted to share my thoughts from visiting.  Plus a bunch or pictures below. The lead story (the headline) at Passion City Church is always the same and that is that "Jesus Is Alive." Our VIP Weekend @ Elevation Church

So I got to attend a Sunday night service at Elevation Church in Charlotte, NC at the Blakeney Campus. The area of Charlotte probably has now officially become one of my favorite areas in the country.  I could easily live there. Once we pulled onto the street to get to the church they had signs asking if it was your first time to the church to turn on your car flashers.  Once the parking team noticed it they immediately sent you to prime front row parking.  At Elevation they call first time guests VIP's.  Also, a part of being a VIP is to immediately go to the black VIP tent right outside the front doors where they give your a bunch of free stuff!  We filled out the paper work needed to put our daughter into her Elevation Kids class then we were given a VIP packet with a free CD and message from Pastor Steven Furtick.   They walked us to the Kids check in and the kids volunteers had Greenlee (our daughter) jumping up and down with excitement...

So it has been a while since I have done this and I thought since there were so many great project that just recently came out I figured now is the time. I always love it when IHOP finished their Onething Conference in January because you can always count on the beginning of summer for another amazing album. This album is by far my favorite of all the Onething Live albums! Why you ask? Because it has a lot of my boy Cory Asbury and Jaye Thomas thats why! Plus Laura Hackett who is beginning to be a favorite of mine as well. My top songs that are a must have are...
