I LOVE THIS CD! Unfortunately you cannot get it on iTunes or Amazon you have to order the old fashioned way and have Dave mail you the cd. But it is worthy the little extra hassle. It is recorded live at Bethel Church in Redding, CA. It also has many special guest on the CD (Brian and Jenn Johnson, Krista Black-Gifford, Chris McClarney, Rita Springer, and Kristene Mueller.) Also the band is the Jesus Culture Band... with Chris Quilala on drums. I love every song and would give it an A for sure! I really love the opening song Sweeter and the song with Brian Johnson sweeter. To get the CD click here.
























I love this CD as well. The Parachute Band is new for me and I really like them a lot. I am especially excited because they are coming to Christian Faith Center next week for a night of worship! But I am a huge fan of the song "Come Before" on this album. This is a song we will be doing at Resonate soon. I love their sound and really enjoy the entire CD. You can get this on iTunes or Amazon. This church worship team is amazing! If you like Hillsong you will really like Planetshakers. They are even from Australia like Hillsong. For more info on the church itself click here. This album is great! The worship ministry's albums keep getting better and better, I bough an album of theirs a few years ago and it was ok. But each year they get better and better. The song writing is incredible! I love the song "Nothing Is Impossible". This will be a song we will do at Resonate as well sometime in the near future. You can get all of the Planetshaker worship music on iTunes. Check them out they are doing some amazing things! They are most known for the song "Healer" that Mike Gigliamucci wrote. Mike was on staff there until the cancer scandal.

Our VIP Weekend @ Elevation Church

So I got to attend a Sunday night service at Elevation Church in Charlotte, NC at the Blakeney Campus. The area of Charlotte probably has now officially become one of my favorite areas in the country.  I could easily live there. Once we pulled onto the street to get to the church they had signs asking if it was your first time to the church to turn on your car flashers.  Once the parking team noticed it they immediately sent you to prime front row parking.  At Elevation they call first time guests VIP's.  Also, a part of being a VIP is to immediately go to the black VIP tent right outside the front doors where they give your a bunch of free stuff!  We filled out the paper work needed to put our daughter into her Elevation Kids class then we were given a VIP packet with a free CD and message from Pastor Steven Furtick.   They walked us to the Kids check in and the kids volunteers had Greenlee (our daughter) jumping up and down with excitement...

Here On Earth (Bryan and Katie Torwalt / Jesus Culture Music) CD Review

So I'm excited that Jesus Culture is branching out and getting new artists to be apart of their label. This is a great step. I really love this album by Bryan and Katie Torwalt. Bryan and Katie are worship pastors at The River in Fresno . I first heard about them because they lead worship at Jesus Culture's Awakening Conference inChicago this past week. I really love the album a lot. To see a live interview / get to know the artists video click here to see them interviewed by Kim Walker-Smith ( @KimWalkerSmith ). As well as listen to bits of every song on the album. My favorite song hands down and will be a song that we do at Resonate is "Holy Spirit" I love songs that start off slowly and become huge as the song continues. I love the theme of this song. The theme is all about encountering the presence of the Holy Spirit during our times of worship. This theme is an area that God is calling Resonate to grow in and I really think this song could help...
