New Series: IGNITE
















We are super excited to launch this new series this weekend. Ignite will be a 7-week series discussing the six things that God uses to rapidly grow our faith and life in Jesus. One thing we know is that in order for our daily walk with Jesus to grow we have to continually work at it. Being a devoted, alive, thriving Biblical, Christ-follower you have to work hard at it! So we believe there are six things that you have to utilize and do to Ignite your faith. The six things we are going to focus on is...

September 25th: Private Disciplines
October 2nd: Personal Ministry
October 9th: Providential Relationships
October 16th: Pivotal Circumstances
October 23rd: Public Obedience

So I got an inside look into the amazing stuff going on at Passion City Church in Buckhead (ATL), Georgia. I learned so many great things about how they communicate, lead, set vision, and much more that I wanted to share my thoughts from visiting.  Plus a bunch or pictures below. HERE ARE THE MAIN THINGS I LEARNED FROM THEIR LEADERSHIP TEAM ABOUT HOW THEY LEAD, GUIDE AND DIRECT THE PEOPLE OF PASSION CITY CHURCH! The lead story (the headline) at Passion City Church is always the same and that is that "Jesus Is Alive." Our VIP Weekend @ Elevation Church

So I got to attend a Sunday night service at Elevation Church in Charlotte, NC at the Blakeney Campus. The area of Charlotte probably has now officially become one of my favorite areas in the country.  I could easily live there. Once we pulled onto the street to get to the church they had signs asking if it was your first time to the church to turn on your car flashers.  Once the parking team noticed it they immediately sent you to prime front row parking.  At Elevation they call first time guests VIP's.  Also, a part of being a VIP is to immediately go to the black VIP tent right outside the front doors where they give your a bunch of free stuff!  We filled out the paper work needed to put our daughter into her Elevation Kids class then we were given a VIP packet with a free CD and message from Pastor Steven Furtick.   They walked us to the Kids check in and the kids volunteers had Greenlee (our daughter) jumping up and down with excitement...

So it has been a while since I have done this and I thought since there were so many great project that just recently came out I figured now is the time. So here we go I hope this is helpful and you are introduced to some new music that will bless you the way it has blessed me! Oh man! I always love it when IHOP finished their Onething Conference in January because you can always count on the beginning of summer for another amazing album. This album is by far my favorite of all the Onething Live albums! Why you ask? Because it has a lot of my boy Cory Asbury and Jaye Thomas thats why! Plus Laura Hackett who is beginning to be a favorite of mine as well. My top songs that are a must have are... Lowest Place (Laura Hackett), Reason To Dance (Cory Asbury & Jaye Thomas), Where I Belong (Cory Asbury), and Whom The Son Sets Free (Cory Asbury & Laura Hackett).
