This past weekend was just amazing... if you missed it I am truly sorry because God was made even more famous on this day and the Kingdom was enlarged! We Baptized 8 wonderful people (The Monteiro's, The Duncan's and Jon Day). I have thought about this weekend all day for the past few days at what an amazing weekend it was. There is nothing more exciting than seeing God grab people's heart and draw them back to their fir...

Leading And Having A Healthy Worship Ministry (The Utmost Importance)

This is something that has been hard pressed into my heart for many years. For many churches this isn't a priority. This is something that is overlooked because of talent. Or this is something that is caused by overall loose living by the staff and leaders of the ministry. This is something that I have fought for and will always fight for in my ministry no matter where God leads me. And that is to have and lead a healthy Worship Ministry. Of course this isn't just for worship ministry. This should be a standard for most all teams in ministry. Below you will read a collection of thoughts and writings about this issue and ways to accomplish and strive for health! I place high responsibility on the worshippers on my team to search their hearts before getting up on the stage to be sure that they are up there for the right reasons. The spiritual standards must be very high. When leading people in worship, there is frequently a fight. There are walls that need to be broken...

If you didn't get a chance to be there Sunday please go to iTunes and download the podcast. It was an amazing time for us to realign our hearts on the true meaning of Christmas. Christmas brings lots of Chaos into our lives... unfortunately the chaos is brought on and created by us... So this season we are going to focus on three aspects of God Emmanuel, Jesus Christ's trip from heaven to earth. Aspect one is that Christmas is a time for Celebration. What a crazy fun year it has been! If you are like me sometimes our flesh begins to think of Christmas in terms of gifts! Although some may disagree with me for saying this but I totally agree that Christmas is about gifts! THink of it this way... the big idea for this series is that God gave us his biggest sacrifice in our greatest time of need. God gave us his greatest gift! Jesus Christ, Emmanuel God With Us! I am so thankful for that gift. There is no gift that can or will ever compare to that gift that God gave us! Ou...

Wow... I love Laura Hackett! I have watched her over the past few years leading on the live webstream of IHOPKC's prayer room. She is super gifted and the CD shows it off totally. This cd has a very relaxed and amazingly refreshing sound. My favorite song by far is "Beautiful Mercy". I love that song! SO I would encourage you all to go and add this one to your collection! Here are a couple Vimeo links to watch a couple videos about the album. Here is an interview with Misty Edwards about the album. And here is a video about the first single off the album called "There Is A Gap". But definitely go and buy this album you can get it of course on IHOP's web store or on iTunes. The guys at Worship Central always do amazing things so this CD was going to be a no brainer! Tim Hughes, Al Gordon and Ben Cantelon are amazing worship leaders who have blessed the Church with many amazing anthem's over the past few years. This album features some oldies ...
